2018 ACFAS Simulation

Nathalie Voarino, PhD candidate in Bioethics at the Université de Montréal and scientific coordinator of the Responsible AI Declaration of Montreal, presented the results of the citizen’s deliberations of the Montreal Declaration as part of the Journées de la relève en recherche de l’ACFAS.

The ACFAS and the intersectoral student committee (CIE) of the Fonds de recherche du Québec recruited some thirty students from all horizons to take part in the first edition of a new consultation method: the 2018 simulation. A brief team policy on a theme related to a stake in society, artificial intelligence.

Ms. Voarino also acted as a juror to select a short policy that will enrich the final version of the Responsible AI Declaration.
